The Spy Who Came in from the Warmth

As celebrations of the Light draw near, as cards are sent, and messages are written, here is a muse about writing. The writer often tends to be the spy who comes in from the warmth. The warmth is the world which he observes – through the filter of his own conditioning of course – and he comes in from that world in order to write. Some of his words will be based on his activities as a spy. Some will be about how he spies on others, on the world, on the energetic transactions of the world as he is aware of them. Some of his work will echo his spying activities. Some of his work will reflect where his activities have taken him, what they have shown him. When one day he finds that the world is a place of warmth, and only the worlds of lies, failure of courage and betrayal are cold, that day, human interactions convince him that he will have to own up, to come in from the warmth and come out as a champion of the Light in all human beings.
